Local Freight is Wacol based a progressive family-owned transport company servicing metro and North Queensland with a fleet of 55+ trucks and trailers.
We carry a wide mix of general freight including various types of construction and packaging materials, fertilisers, and dangerous goods.
About the Role
We currently seeking experienced MC drivers to join our linehaul team.
We run a fleet of brand-new trucks there will be opportunity to get one truck permanently with set runs available.
- Well maintained fleet
- Mainly depot drops ranging from 1 to 7 involved
- Good kms on offer
- Industry leading km rate, pick / drops fees and overnight allowance.
- Weekly payments.
To be successful for this Role you will need to:
- Must hold an MC Licence with a minimum of 1 year experience.
- Good driving record (traffic history must be supplied on request)
- Have a positive and professional attitude.
- Current Heavy Vehicle Drivers Medical if needed.
- Knowledge of load restraint laws.
- A current LF forklift and Dangerous Goods licence would be an advantage.
