MR Driver – Food Industry ( Araway Transport )

Job Summary:

Full time Driver required for immediate start for local food deliveries.

This role will start around 4.30am and involves driving from the warehouse and delivering stock to cafes, restaurants and schools . This run covers Paramatta and surrounding suburbs in Western Sydney. Training will be provided on the set run. 

Duties include but not limited to:

• Assisting in unloading of delivery vehicle (6-8 pallet truck)
• Delivery routes to local customers 
• Developing a good working relationship with customers

To be successful you must have;

• Current valid MR Truck Licence (manual) or higher
• Previous experience with multi-drop deliveries
• Able to MANUALLY unload stock up to 20kgs
• Good communication skills
• Friendly customer service attitude 
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently 
• Good driving record
• Accuracy & attention to detail
• Understanding of Safe Food Handling
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential
• Previous experience and/or passion in working with food products would be highly regarded
