Job Opportunity: Store Person, Bridgewater
New Tasmanian Store Opening soon
Full-time Permanent Position. Monday to Friday. Day Shift.
$60-$65,000 per annum
A national Steel Company, a dynamic leader in the steel industry and one of Australia’s leading steel suppliers and processing companies, part of large Steel Group, with the capability to handle all steel requirements, across a network of 10 branches, no matter how big or small is opening in Tasmania.
An excellent opportunity currently exists for an experienced Store Person at our new Tasmania branch.
Working within a fast paced environment the main duties include warehousing and distribution of steel products using forklifts and picking orders, unloading and stacking materials.
To succeed in this role, applicants must have:
* Previous warehouse and distribution experience
* A current forklift license (this is essential)
* Overhead crane experience is desired but not essential
* A current heavy vehicle truck license would be an advantage but not essential
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* A ‘can do’ attitude and honest work ethic
