Job Summary:

Dennis Transport is seeking a Transport and Logistics Officer to join their team in the Wingfield Depot.

This position will work closely with the Yard Manager in a fast-paced environment.   The successful applicant will be required to be available from 6.00am to 3.30pm from Monday to Friday and on call every second weekend.

Responsibilities include:

• Working within the organisations operational systems (ICS, 2IC, MT Data) to orgaise and manifest transport bookings, data entry of consignment notes and management of pallets.
• Provide effective customer service across all channels of communication.
• Ensuring operational documentation is completed, checked and submitted in a timely manner.
• Operate a shared email.
• Provide back up and support to the Yard Manager.
• Provide back up and support to Administration Staff.
• Provide support to Yard Workers where licencing permits.

To be considered for this position candidates will need to have:

• TLIF0006 Administer a Fatigue Risk Management System (Scheduling).
• Effective communication skills and be team orientated.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail.

Successful applicants must:

• Provide a clean National Police Check.
• Provide a driver\’s history check, where licencing is provided.
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
