VICTORIAN OPERATIONS MANAGER ( T R A N Z P O R T E R )

NGH Express is currently seeking an experienced Road Transport Operations Manager to join the team based in Dandenong South and to lead and manage our current drivers and mechanical operations.
Core objectives for this position include:
· Ensure drivers are issued with the correct company paperwork, including delivery dockets and relevant trip paperwork;
· Manage Victorian Drivers including arranging induction of new drivers into the business’ policies and procedures
· Monitor operations to ensure workers comply and operate with company policies, procedures, safety rules
and legislative requirements;
· Implement schedule and policy changes;
· Prepare, update and communicate roster daily;
· Serve as main contact person for Victorian Operations;
· Monitor driver’s fitness for duty prior to their commencement of work;
· Liaise with South Australian and WA Operations, workshop, compliance and administration personnel daily and efficiently
· Create relationships with new and existing business customers;
· Increase / Improve the profile of the business;
· Liaise with customers in regards to their needs and expectations;
· Check all incoming trip paperwork for accuracy and completion,
Essential:
· Basic Fatigue Management · Dangerous Goods License
Desirable:
· Forklift License · MC or HC License · BSB41412 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
