We are currently seeking a storeperson to operate our small office/warehouse based in Gladesville, and effectively contribute to the growth of our e-commerce store. This opportunity requires someone who is willing to work within a team committed to providing an outstanding service to our customers and has the potential for growth across multiple facets of the business.
Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to :
- Forklift Operation
- Picking, packaging and dispatching orders
- Container loading, unloading and sorting
- Ensure safe warehouse operations, especially regarding forklift use
- Solve discrepancies regarding stock and orders
- Conducting stock checks regularly
- Liaise with customers via email and phone regarding orders and deliveries.
- General warehouse duties as required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Stock management and administration
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised and within a small team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and experience in customer service
- Problem solving and decision making abilities
- Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Intermediate PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Physical capabilities to lift and move heavy boxes
- Motivation to succeed and advance within the company
- Forklift license
- Current Drivers licence and own reliable transportation
To be successful for these roles you must have previous warehousing experience (3 years), the ability to hit the ground running and a sound knowledge on workplace health and safety. Experience in the e-commerce industry will be an advantage however is not essential.
30 Hours Per Week – 9:30am – 3:30pm
