About the Role
JAX Tyres & Auto is excited to welcome a new, experienced motor mechanic and also a wheel aligner to their friendly team.
In this role, you will use your expertise to analyse and repair all light vehicle makes and models, with the bonus of working in a well-equipped and safety-first workshop. You will work closely with tyre technicians, and sales staff to deliver the best service to our valued customers, ensuring everyone leaves our store with peace of mind driving.
Your main day-to-day tasks would include:
Thoroughly inspecting and successfully identifying vehicle faults
Providing your expert advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks of your customer’s vehicles
Safely operating hoists and conducting road tests
Performing wheel alignments and post alignment checks as required
About you
A current Australian driver’s
Prior experience
You are an excellent problem-solver
You can work cooperatively in a team environment, but also confidently when unsupervised
Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and team members
Knowledge and compliance of work health and safety practices
