I have recently left the ADF after 13 years’ service, I am a fit, heathy and diligent operator who can be relied upon to complete any task. I have extensive transport experience and hold a range of qualifications and licences. I have resided in Townsville for the last 10 years, I am punctual and an excellent communicator. I am looking for an opportunity to learn new skills in the civilian transport sector. I am available to start work immediately.

Experience :
Worked As Logistic Manager/Principle Logistic Planner at ARMY HEADQUARTERS from January 2012 to December 2016
• Managed overseas operations and domestic capabilities encompassing niche Army organisations.
• Functional responsibilities encompassed operational logistics planning, policy development, compliance, corporate
governance, logistic information systems, logistics operations, fleet management, supply chain management,
warehousing, purchasing, procurement, finance and OHS.
• Led a diverse team of staff during a period of high operational tempo, including determining priorities, setting team
goals, allocating resources, monitoring day to day work activities and authoring freight and commodity movement.
• Managed delivery of logistics support to regional Defence operations, with a focus on integrated logistics and distribution solutions.
• Prepared forecasts, operating budgets, logistics plans and management reports for a range of large scale training
activities and operations.
• Requisitioned assets in keeping with program budgets and maintained associated asset control and tracking systems.
• Oversaw the procurement of specialist equipment valued in the tens of millions of dollars.
• Worked as part of the executive management team, advising the Chief of Army on logistics operations, business
capability, operational readiness, strategic planning and issues.
• Managed outsourced contracts for procurement of goods and services domestically and internationally.

Throughout my career I have been privileged to exercise leadership of multi-skilled teams across a range of business
functions. My role as a leader encompassed responsibility for the performance, development and administration of diverse
teams, and involved working under pressure to meet deadlines in challenging circumstances.

Teamwork & Interpersonal
In all appointments, I have been required to act as both leader and team member. These experiences have deepened my
awareness of group dynamics and methods of dealing with conflict. The ability to work both as a member of a team and autonomously is essential in an organisation with many semi-independent and inter-dependent units, particularly within
Defence. I have managed teams as large ix hundred and mall as 5 members and have always enjoyed a good
rapport with them, both personally and professionally.
