PARRAMATTA
Work Experience: 3 Years 1 Months

About me:

Candidate Info :
I’ve been driving trucks for just under 3 years and I genuinely enjoy is as I’m constantly travelling. Outside of work I’m a currency trader and enjoy astrophotography. I’m a can do kind of guy and as along as the environment isn’t toxic and respect is reciprocated, I’m a chill guy who generally gets along with most people

Experience :
Worked at Christmas Casual
Tibetan House had been a great experience for me. Due to the store being new and my proven skills as an employee, they had entrusted me to perform many tasks that
are not usually given to Christmas Casuals such as: running the store independently,
opening and closing the store, counting till at EOD, managing stock etc.
Because of this I was able to gain more experience and knowledge of what goes into
running a store.

Some of the requirements for this job include:
● Time Management – As I was working alone for most of my shifts, I had to ensure I utilised my time well to guarantee all expected tasks were
completed.
● Stock Management – Due to the inconsistent delivery schedule I had to ensure that I was able to adjust my schedule for that day to accommodate
processing through new stock, unpacking, displaying and replenishing
stock as well, while also ensuring that I assist and serve customers.
● Product Knowledge – As there were many different products ranging from crystals to Buddhas to mediation pillows and more, it was very important
to not only know the different names and types of products we had but also have an understanding of what each item does. Due to the spiritual
nature of the store, many customers needs or enquiries would range not

only based on the look and practical function of the product, but also on the spiritual element, which meant it was highly important that we
understood and respected the spiritual aspect of each product as well.
● Opening and Close of Day – I was tasked with opening and closing the store for the day. When opening the store, I had to ensure that the shop floor
was at a presentable standard, to action any task that the team from the day before could not complete and to ensure the right amount of float
money was in the till.
When closing the store, I had to ensure I counted the till accurately,
recording and reporting any discrepancies if necessary. I also had to ensure the right amount of float money was counted for the next day,
clean the store and make sure all products in the right place, general
housekeeping task etc.
