Experienced MC driver needed for long-distance freight transport from SE QLD to Mt Isa, operating modern vehicles and ensuring safe delivery.
We are seeking an experienced MC Long Distance Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting freight safely, efficiently, and on time to our Mt Isa Depot from Depots in SE Queensland. You will operate modern, well-maintained vehicles and work within a supportive, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate MC-class vehicles for long-distance freight transport.
– Ensure freight is loaded, secured, and delivered in compliance with company and legal requirements.
– Complete required documentation, logbooks, and pre-start checks accurately.
– Comply with fatigue management and road safety regulations.
– Maintain the cleanliness and condition of your vehicle.
– Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to ensure smooth deliveries.
Requirements:
– Current MC licence (experience preferred)
– Clean driving record
– Ability to work independently
– Undergo Random Drug Tests
– Physically fit to handle freight loading/unloading where required
– Commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism
Desirable:
– Forklift Licence
