Hi my name is Brent i am 30 years old and have a family of four my wife and two daughters, Finished grade 12 at school while started a school based traineeship as a mechanic turning into a full time apprenticeship. I finished my apprenticeship and became a tradesman mechanic working in the workshop overall about 6 years then went of to work as a mechanic on a major farms fixing all machinery and farm vehicles such as full fleet of tractors, trucks, dozer, excavator, Prime movers and trailers. While working there i also learned plenty of skills driving trucks loading machinery onto floats, operating tractors and ground equipment. After working on the farm for 6 years i change careers and started at Liberty Rural where i learned and up skill myself as a full-time Truck driver in the transport fuel industry where i delivered fuel around north Queensland region to businesses, Farms, Quarries, ships and tugboats. I loaded up at fuel terminals and delivered Pulp, Ulp and diesel.

Experience :
Worked As TRUCK DRIVER at LIBERTY RURAL from March 2019 to November 2022
area. I have experience in Fuel terminals in Townsville and Mackay. Being a dangerous goods driver for 3 years have given
me a high level of knowledge, skills, and responsibility to ensure the safety of both the driver and the public.

Worked As TRADESMAN MECHANIC/FARMHAND at RUSHEL PRODUCE from June 2014 to March 2019
Currently am responsible for maintenance of all farm tractors,
picking booms, machinery, irrigation systems, vehicles and farm
implements. Also required to operate machinery such as tractors
(ranging in size from 95HP Kubota tractors to 8235R, 7730 and 7230 John Deere tractors) for slashing, rolling and lifting plastic, rotary
hoeing, discing and laying plastic. Required to operate forklifts on
a daily basis for a range of jobs. HR license held to transport
produce from farm to packing sheds. Responsible for overseeing
workers, ensuring safe use of all equipment to avoid loss of time
injuries and breakdowns and to meet deadlines and targets.

Worked As TRADESMAN MECHANIC at JASCO AUTOMOTIVE from February 2008 to June 2014
Completed school based and full-time apprenticeship. Became
qualified mechanic in 2013. Responsible for service and
maintenance of light vehicles, small trucks and buses according to
workshop manuals, diagnosing, repairing and installing parts for all types of vehicles, sourcing and ordering parts from suppliers,
customer service and following workplace health and safety
practices.
