plus some direct marketing of VLD services and equipment. PDB Support has
strived to develop and induct products to the mining industry that improve
production and safety.

Advanced Chain Technologies (ACT) is primarily a manufacturer/supplier of Scorpion Cable handling systems, ACT Flight Bars and supplier of Longwall
Chain product. All the products are associated with longwall coal winning. It
was decided by ACT that it needed to grow their business into other areas of the underground coal mining operations and retained me to market American
Commercial product range to the Australian mining industry.
In the sales and marketing area I am responsible for product development,
demonstrations and exhibitions to the mining industry, sales negotiations with corporate clients and public relations enhancing the image of the Company.
Over the period to date I have increased ACI Tri-Log exposure and sales by
some 200%. In addition to the Australian market I have commenced research into the introduction of American Commercial’s Tri-Log and Fomo’s Silent
Seal into the UK Coal Market.
