I have an extensive career history in the manufacture and maintenance of vacuum and pressure tankers serving fuel, chemical, food and bulk waste industries dating back to 1996. Throughout my career I have been required to drive heavy vehicles in every role I have undertaken both in my military and civilian life.

I hold a current HC license and have held a Heavy Goods Vehicle license in the UK for 21 years; I have a valid white card and completed a STD11 in Safety for the Mining Industry.

My last role of National Service Manager ended in July due to redundancy therefore I am available for an immediate start with total flexibility on days and hours of work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Class 1 ADR LGV Tanker Driver. Currently hold classes 1 to 6, 8 & 9 on my ADR license. My job role involved loading and delivering hazardous liquids on various contracts throughout the UK.
• Fully conversant in all aspects of compressor and pump discharge. I was responsible for training new people on the contracts I have worked. I completed the required paperwork in a methodical and timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• I joined the Army in January 1999 after completing a three year apprenticeship in Fabricating and Welding. I was employed as a Class 1 Metalsmith in charge of a three man team maintaining a fleet of armoured vehicles.
• I completed tours in Poland, Oman, Canada, Germany and Iraq.
• It was during my time in the Army that I passed my Class II and I HGV and ADR.
• During my time in the army I became a Physical Training Instructor. I was responsible for the physical training of both the battalion and workshop.
