My Name is Craig

After 20 years in the carpentry / building industry I am looking or a career change. I have always had ambitions to be a line haul / changeover truck driver. However I am open to any truck driving position that becomes available to help me gain further road experience.

WIth my background in construction I am naturally mechanically minded as well as having great awareness of occupational health and safety precautions. I also have a forklift and dogman’s licence which I feel is of added benefit to a career in truck driving.

Refit of Woolworth petrol stations throughout Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Northern Territory. I was responsible for the on-site co-ordination and safety of staff and subcontractors, keeping a record of variations and also maintaining a consistent quality over all my sites. As well ensuring that all works carried out were in compliance with the Australian Institute of Petroleum (AIP) regulations. The refits had to be done in such a way as to allow the store to continue trading whilst renovations were taking place. This required co-ordination with both store and area managers as well as Cornerstone management to ensure the safety of staff and public.
