Hi my name is Doug, im an MC driver from Adelaide who has being working in the transport industry since 2018. In that time i have accomplished a lot and maintained an accident free record (touch wood). I am going to outline my experience below as well as my hobbies and what i enjoy doing in my spare time. Thank you.

I started driving in 2018 for Eagle Contractors, driving primarily single trailer tippers around the wharf and quarries. After a few months of stagnant work, i moved onto Collins Transport where I got a lot of experience in refrigeration transport. In 2020 I got my MC licence and was offered a job at ABC transport, driving B doubles to Melbourne express overnight, 5 round trips a fortnight. After a few months of this, the boss let me loose in a triple road train to Alice Springs, 5 round trips a fortnight. On my 2 round trip week, i would often do dog runs to Port Augusta.

I love cycling, its how i stay fit and healthy. I have no medical conditions that can impact me.

Worked As MC driver at Dynasty Trucking from November 2020 to till now
Driving Road trains, B Doubles and singles. Doing various jobs around wharfs and quaries.

Worked As MC Truck Driver at ABC Transport from January 2020 to November 2020
Driving B Doubles directly to Melbourne express, driving triple road trains directly to Alice springs.

Worked As Pilot at Air Frontier from May 2019 to January 2020
• Operating light aircraft around Darwin and east Arnhem land.
• Customer service skills dealing with passengers and clients.
• Strict safety regulations to be adhered to.
• Autonomous work completed, due to being based alone on Groote Eylandt.

Worked As Truck Driver at Roberts Transport from November 2018 to March 2019

• Operating 15/18 speed Prime Movers, attached to refrigeration vans and tautliners.
• Utilizing safety and workplace operating procedures in fast paced environments.

• Operation of a forklift to unload and load the trailers.

Worked As Truck Driver at Eagle Contractors from June 2018 to October 2018
– Operating 18 speed Prime Movers, attached to rear end tippers and tautliners.
– Working at the wharf to unload fertilizer from the boats and transport to nearby storage.
– Carting a variety of products in tipper trailers, to unload in destinations all around Adelaide.
