About me:
Candidate Info :
Eager to obtain regular, stable employment (have been casually employed for the past 10 years as a tipper/water cart driver). My short term goal is to save to gain my MC licence and forklift ticket. I have a wide range of experience on Queensland Rail sitees, civil sites and private sites.
I am professional, friendly (work well in a team as well as on my own) and am happy to perform labouring jobs.
Despite my small stature I am more than capable of finding ways to work smarter!
Experience :
Worked As Crane Truck Driver at SIMMONS LOGISTICS from August 2015 to November 2015
Operate hiab & palfinger. Various trucks (auto & synchro). Load restraint exp. Highway and city driving. Insufficient hours to keep me going.
Worked As Water Cart and Tipper Driver at TNT Earthworks from June 2012 to August 2015
Most water cart and tipper work conducted on civil sites (city, highway and country driving). Accident free. RR gearbox experience. Water Cart: fill from stand pipes, dams and creeks. Tipper: on-site and quarry experience. Worked hourly and contact.
Worked As Driving at Helmar Tiptrans from January 2013 to January 2014

Worked As Driving at Ted’s Turf from July 2013 to November 2013
Redbank Plains Motor Way upgrade. Driving T Line and Mack
Worked As Book-keeper Office manager and appointment coordinator at Knight Earthmoving from January 2005 to August 2012
2005-2012
Employed by my (then) husband as part of his business Knight Earthmoving. I filled numerous roles in this area including:
• Tipper truck driver (20T tip truck)
• Trainee plant operator (13 & 14T excavators and DROTT (18T), and rollers
• General labourer
• Reading and interpreting house site plans, marking house sites, and excavating and replacing soil to required levels.
• Book-keeper Office manager and appointment coordinator
• Chief advertiser – I ran a display at last year’s Somerset Business Expo which was well received and resulted in Knight Earthmoving gaining several new customers
Worked As Signals Operator at RAAF from January 1981 to October 2003
1981-2003 RAAF
Signals Operator (Data entry and communications)
After passing recruit training I underwent another 12 months of trade training. On completion of trade training I volunteered for, and achieved the following:
Reporter/Analyst (Junior)
– Drafting military intelligence reports (both hand and type written and researched by me)
– Researching historical information for inclusion in reports to support analytical comments
Reporter/Analyst (Senior)
– More complicated/in-depth reporting and analysis, including managing specific projects
– Drafting and (verbally) presenting daily intelligence briefings for senior staff, including visiting foreign military officers
– Liaising with (then) Coastwatch staff and Federal Police
HIGHLIGHT
Developed a standard briefing and reporting format specifically to suit Headquarters Northern Command requirements that was implemented throughout the Command.
Career Manager. Career managers (CM) collect and collate posting and promotion goals of all airmen in specific trade streams Non-technical trades were managed by staff outside of the individual trade thus requiring the CM to learn about the complexities of a completely different trade whilst actually performing CM duties.
. The data is then mapped against Defence requirements and used to complete a posting plot for, in my case, up to some 680 personnel. During this role I:
– was selected through a rigorous selection process to fill a voluntary role as an Airman Career Manager
– utilised the computer daily, particularly Word and Excel to maintain staff data
– maintained significant levels of contact (face-to-face, email, and phone) with staff of all levels up to and including Unit Commanders, as well as with senior public servants and civilians.
– was responsible for drafting and presenting information for formal briefings during annual CM visits to all Units and staff
– conducted one-on-one interviews with airmen (and sometimes their spouses)
– worked to extremely strict and tight deadlines
