Worked As Van Driver at Aviation Support from May 2017 to December 2017
for an aviation company working out of slough trading estate, transporting equipment to the aviation industry. Duties were in the warehouse initially with booking things in and out then loading my vehicle ready to head out for delivery all over England.I displayed good driving qualities and knowledge of local areas as we would cover a variety of locations from one day to the next, within London and the south east sometimes further a field. We would take on a variety of jobs so good communication and team working skills were essential. This was a temporary role.
(Have worked in various driving roles within the last few years in between pictures).
Worked As Rigging Labourer at Pinewood/Leavesden Studio from April 2016 to May 2017
Most recently I was working as a rigging labourer in the film industry. Manual work carrying equipment to and from job sites around the studio for the competent rigger’s I would be working with and in time
learning off. I had the opportunity to work on star wars and a new Mary Poppin’s remake which was a
special experience. We had to manage our timekeeping to ensure we met deadlines and kept to the timetable set out for us. Working in a team was essential when in a high pressurized environment,
schedules had to be followed and guidelines met in order to deliver a finish that would be camera worthy.
I now looking for a more permanent role which will help me in creating a better future as work in the studios is usually on a self-employed basis and every winter becomes obsolete
Feature Films worked on as a Rigging labourer include:
â— Ready Player One
â— Rogue One (reshoots)
â— Mary Poppins
Worked As Labourer at RIGGER from February 2015 to March 2016
Worked at Propman from October 2014 to December 2014
Kingsman secret service:
I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work as a propman on this excellent feature film. This
experience enabled me to work well as a team and individually to make sure the set was brought to life and to create the environment desired for the camera. From working in idealistic house sets to rugged
outdoor scenery I found this a very enjoyable experience and it gave me a real insight of how film sets
are brought to life through careful hard work and precision.
Worked As Apprentice Carpenter at Pinewood Studios from February 2011 to September 2014
I completed my apprenticeship at Pinewood studios and I was given the opportunity to work on some of the biggest feature films over the last couple of years, including an outdoor set which was the biggest
in Europe at the time. We had to manage our timekeeping to ensure we met deadlines and kept to the timetable set out for us. Working in a team was essential when in a high pressurized environment,
schedules had to be followed and guidelines met in order to deliver a finish that would be camera worthy.
After completion of my apprenticeship I now look for a more permanent role which will help me in creating
a better future as work in the studios is usually on a self-employed basis and every winter becomes
obsolete.
Feature Films doing Carpentry include:
â— Dark Shadows
â— Cinderella
â— Maleficent
â— Snow white and the huntsman
