I used to be a part of a company that manufactured Safety Gear, but as it is cheaper to make this overseas, I was made redundant. I am looking to get into warehousing work, as I know I can be of value to my next employer.

This company manufactures and imports workplace and fire safety equipment. It supplies retail companies such as BOC Gas and J Blackwood & Son.

Responsibilities:
? Assisting the Logistics Officer with receiving production materials, reconciling shipment contents with supplied documentation and following material traceability documentation procedures.
? Preparing, packing and loading shipments (Sea Containers, Pallets and Air Freight) of Production Materials to the factory in Fiji, along with preparing the shipment manifests for recording by the Logistics Officer.
? Assisting Despatch Team with Picking, Unloading, Palletising, including Forklift Operation from October 2013.
? Leading a team of two other Production Staff in two separate sections in the manufacture of welding and other special safety gear.
