I wish to apply for a driving position in the Geelong, Surfcoast, Western Districts area. I have now been employed for a total of approx 44 years and 22 of the last 23 years I have been employed in the Laverton area as a Prison Officer/Supervisor/Manager at Port Phillip Prison then as a Supervisor, Site Co Ordinator, Prisoner Transport Officer – both jobs with a large multi-national company called G4S. Because of the 20 odd years travelling up and back to Laverton daily (from Leopold) AND because of the health deterioration of my mother I really need a position in Geelong and surrounding areas.
I am after a MR or Van driving position, preferably Permanent or Permanent Part Time. I am 64 years old but in good health and no physical or medical issues.
I have a very sound record of employment as you can see in my Resume. I have had two main industries that I have worked – banking industry for 20 years and corrections industry for approx 24 years. I have been driving prisoners 13 yrs

Ability to deal and transport prisoners in a safe and secure manner to locations throughout Melbourne, suburbs, regional areas and country areas. Handle prisoner’s property and medication in a safe, secure and professional manner. Strong communication lines with Police, Judiciary, Corrections staff and other relevant agencies.
