I know it’s an old post i just
want to answer it, if anyone
experience the same problem. Today
my 2 year daughter did the same
thing. I was horrified. Didn’t
know what to do i tried tweezers and different things. But it only pushed it
more inside. Just i then remember
what we were taught in med school.
Btw i am a doctor and stay at home
mom. Cover other nostril with your
thumb and blow in you child’s
mouth. It worked. I was beyond relief.

This was a great tip I was so worried
my 2yr old can’t really blow her nose,
she kept crying making everything
even better (lol) but thank God I
found this site I was so relieved when
I blew on her mouth and my
husband cough the play dough in the air!!! I was so happy I did not
mind all her runny boogers on my
face lol Thank you ladies!!! covering the one nostril that is not affected
and blowing on there mouth really
works!!! Thank God.

Does she know how to blow her
nose? Guess not- do you know how to do a netty pot! If you have a squirt
bottle stick it up the non clogged
side and flush that nostril get her to tilt her head and hopefully it will
flush out the other side. You could
take a bit off of a q-tip and swirl it around up there. My 4 year old just
did this 3 months ago- he no longer
gets the dough! LoL It’s non toxic so
that’s a plus.

I said the same thing, “No more dough for you” lol. She does
blow her nose, and she was able to blow a little chunk out, but she just
can’t blow hard enough to get it all. I
called the dr. & she said that
unless it seems to be bothering her, or causing any sort of problems, its
not that big of a deal. It’s non toxic
& will prob dissolve if we cant
get it out.

Happened today with my 3 year old
We used a nose frida to get it out.
Worked great. Though it did take a
few times. It went really far back to the point I could no longer see it.
Tried tweezers etc. Finally got the Nose Frida and works great.
