victimsand the young person. The role involvespreparation of paperwork for court, organising
venuesfor conferences, preparing both victimsand youngpeople to attend the conference. Thispart of the job can prove to be quiet challenging at times. Time management isimperative due to court
dates that have been set prior to the conference taking place.

program was to provide living skillsfrom budgeting, cleaning to caring for the youngchild. Solid Koori
Families provided the girlsa group space where they could come together and learn from each other
aswell asgetting information from other services that may be relevant to their cause. Thiswas a part of my job asa facilitator.

Thisrole wasa temp assignment for a sixmonths that wasextended to eight months. During my time
in thisrole I wasrequired for a multitude of tasks. These including, but not limited to: Updatingand
entry airway billsinto the system, Customer service, Retrieval of documentsfor thisI wasrequired to gain an air-side driver’slicense, Damage reportsif goodshad been tampered with or damaged in any
other way, Delivery of goodsfrom the small parcel area, Completion of the ordersonce they had
been delivered to the trucks, Faxing of documents to customsfor a clearance I have completed a dangerousgoodsacceptance course but had not been able to put thisin to place due to the short
time I was there. Thiswasa very fast paced environment to which I found the role challenging and fulfilling.
Worked As Data Entry BunningsDistribution at Rosehill from September 2007 to November 2007
Thisrole wasa temporaryrole for dataentry it involved getting ordersready for distribution,
checking the stockavailable in the warehouse, 3PL’S, General Admin duties. Through thisrole I was
able to learn the oracle computer program. It was through thisrole I started to realize a passion for the freight industry.
Worked As Counsellor at Home Visitor Benevolent Society from June 2007 to September 2007
Thisrole wasvoluntary. It involved helping people in need with children between the agesof 0-2, with different issuesthey had in their lives. Giving them a friend to talk to who wasn’t going to judge
or manipulate them in to doing anything theyreally didn’t want to do. I found thisrole to be very
rewarding in manyways.

Thiswasa voluntaryrole. Muru Nanga Mai isan Aboriginal men’sand women’sgroup in which both groupsmet up once a week for variousactivities and events. Thisorganisation wasformed out of
what use to be known as the CDAT and YALANGYALANGmeetings that run back in 2007.My role
here started in the foundingstagesof the group, from there I progressto being the treasurer for the women’sgroup and secretary to the entire group. Thissaw I involved in variouscommunity meetings and eventsasa rep from the group. It was myjob to take minutesat group meeting and be sure
everyone wasgiven a copy by the time the next meeting approached, Organising group activities this
would involve getting on to the local TAFEand getting people out to show the women different
activities or arrangingpeople to come and speak to them on different issues, management of budgets, reportson budgets, applicationsfor funding and extra. I wasalso responsible for book

thisrole was voluntary. It involved supervising the children for a 2 hour period whilst there mumshas
timeout aswell ashelping them to interact with their children in playtime. I found thisrole to be
fulfilling and at timeschallenging.
