Worked As Senior Base Pilot and Licence Aircraft Engineer at Northern Air Charter from December 1998 to June 2001
The senior base pilot role involved the management of customer needs, bookings,
crew rostering and accounts for the base. Whilst carrying out the administrative
duties, the role also required the operation of various types of aircraft, training
pilots and ensuring a high standard of professionalism was maintained by the six
crew in the base. Working with various local and state government departments
as well as the local community was an essential task of the position, to ensure the base remained profitable and socially accepted with local indigenous groups.
