Have experience in multiple roles over the years. Am happy to give and take direction in a team environment or work solo. I am a task focused worker. Am happy to work overtime hours, but limited to a 9 day fortnight maximum due to other commitments. Have an MC open licence, but have mainly driven rigid trucks, with some truck and dog skel container work. Would like to get some experience driving HC.
I have mild arthritis due to twenty years of furniture removals, but am still active and plenty strong enough to do most jobs other than heavy lifting.

Driving HR 12 Tonner Tautliner with manual gearbox doing multi-drop local work with general freight

Drive client to appointments, shopping and work commitments. Lawn and garden maintenance, housework.

Worked As Owner Driver / Removalist (Sub Contractor) at Grace Removals from February 2014 to August 2019
I had previously worked for small companies, before working for myself. Around 2014, I started contracting to Grace Removals. I ran a team of 2 or 3 men (depending on workload). We mainly did house moves (local, interstate and international) and were involved in loading, unloading, prepacking, unpacking and other duties. I drove MR and HR trucks and, at times towed a dog trailer. My earlier removals work was mainly in pans, but most of the subcontract work was HC SKEL container work Local and Distance.

Worked As Youth Work, Teaching, sales, manual labour. at Various from January 1984 to January 2014
I have done various work over the years. I briefly list the most prominent. I was a youth worker for a drop in youth centre for 1 year. I also worked for NSW Department of Community Services for 10 years as youth worker, then senior youth worker, then chief youth worker, then manager of several independent living programs. I then went to University of Western Sydney and got a Bachelor of Arts (Social Psychology and Social Research major) , then a social science Honours Degree. During that time I was able to earn a living teaching undergraduates (tutor and lecturer) and also worked in sales during breaks. I moved up to QLD to be near my son after getting divorced, roughly 16years ago, and that’s when I started driving trucks.
