Worked As MC Refrigerated Truck Driver at don watson transport from January 2019 to December 2020
This was my most recent job and it involved multi drop deliveries of frozen goods, predominantly meat to various cold stores around Sydney. I was taught the correct way to hook up and split B Doubles and how to reverse them, I also learnt to drive a road ranger gearbox. I did a little bit of everything at this role, working afternoon shift I would start by doing a run or two of PUD and then at night I would work in the yard hooking up all the sets of trailers that were going interstate that night and making sure they were all fuelled up and had their temperatures set correctly. I would then drive a double up to Wyong. Occasionally I would fill in for the tug drivers and move the trailers on and off the docks with a shunt truck. The majority of our fleet were either Mack day cabs with auto gear boxes or Kenworth K200s with Road Rangers.

Worked As HC Refrigerated Truck Driver at Micway Transport from June 2018 to January 2019
This job involved delivering fresh and frozen goods to super markets and fast food restaurants. We would load pallets onto the trailers ourselves with electric pallet jacks and then deliver them to stores all around NSW. It was mainly local work around Sydney with 2 country runs a week to inland NSW. I was taught basic fridge maintenance and how to troubleshoot the various problems of the fridge motors. E.g. topping up fluids, jump starting dead motors, dealing with error codes etc. Our fleet were all European trucks, mainly Volvos.

Worked As HC Container Truck Driver at two men and a truck from March 2015 to June 2018
I first joined this company as a removalist and MR truck driver and would move peoples stuff out of their house and load it into a pantech truck and deliver it to their new address. I also drove a taut liner rigid truck that we used to deliver boxes and other packing supplies to customers. I upgraded to my HC license in 2017 and started driving an HC container truck. Removalists would load peoples stuff into shipping containers as temporary storage while they found new homes or were moving interstate. I was in charge of shuttling containers back and forth between our main yard in Artarmon and our container yard in Chullora and also driving them interstate doing usually 2 trips a week. I would drive a container forklift and load them onto my truck and organise the yard and shuttle the containers back and forth as required. The majority of the interstate trips would be directly to either our Melbourne or Brisbane depots with occasional trips out to various parts of the country people were moving to. My main truck was a Volvo FH with an auto gear box.

Worked As Removals MR Truck Driver at Mini Movers Removals Guildford from July 2014 to January 2016
This was my first job as a truck driver right out of high school. I got my MR license and worked as a removalist, driving to peoples houses and loading their furniture onto a pantech truck and delivering it to their new home. The trucks were all manual gearbox Isuzu pan techs.
