I have been working in the aviation industry for the last 16 years, and have gained a lot of experience in this field, and in different other areas. I’m currently employed as a First Officer for Jetstar, however, due to the ongoing Coronavirus issues, have been stood down from my position.
My previous experiences within the industry has ranged from instructing to managing and training and testing/checking roles.
Previous to my flying career, I have been working in the transport industry as a heavy vehicle mechanic as well as managing a warranty department for Kenworth.
I have current a HR licence (unrestricted), Forklift (LF), White Card and BFM. Previous driving experience has included operating 7.5 ton trucks in the UK In the early 90’s transporting freight from major airports.
I am very keen to start a driving career, and wish to continue to gain as much experience as possible.
My secondary education was completed in the UK along with a trade certificate as a motor mechanic.

Worked As HR Truck Driver at Darlco Transport from August 2020 to till now
Conduct pickup and deliveries on behalf of StarTrack to various locations within the Sydney Region.
Carry out pre-start checks on vehicle as per company requirements.
Keep truck clean and tidy.
Always follow SOP’s set out by StarTrack and Darlco, and operate vehicle safely.
Safely use side curtains and internal strapping system whilst loading and unloading vehicle.

Worked As Fleet Manager/Head and Training And Checking at Maroomba Airlines from May 2011 to April 2015

• As Head of Training and Checking, I was responsible for the ongoing oversight of standards of the pilot group. This involved conducting regular simulator and inflight checks with pilots, designing
new simulator test material as well as performing normal flying duties.
• Other roles as Fleet Manager would include meetings with senior management and safety board,
audits, writing new policy and procedures and being involved with negotiating and securing new
contracts for prospective clients.
Worked As 8 FLEET MANAGER/HEAD at DASH from May 2011 to April 2015
• Responsible for the ongoing oversight of standards for the Dash8 flight crew. Scheduling of flights and rostering crews.
• Conceptualised and develop new simulator exercises, conduct training and assessing of new staff as well as internal training
and checking for upgrading candidates, and training new check and training staff.
• Participated in BARS audits and the rewriting of operations manuals when necessary.
• Supervised teams, ensuring efficiency through trainings and dissemination of information regarding policies and products.

Worked As Captain/Line Pilot at Royal Flying Doctor Service from May 2009 to June 2011
As a line pilot for the RFDS I was required to carry out aeromedical emergency flights either primary or
hospital transfers depending on the task coordinated by QLD health.
• This challenging role required pilots to cover 3 types of shift; morning, afternoon and night. Other duties
would include strict pre-flight planning and inspection of aircraft prior to dispatch, assisting medical
personnel with loading and unloading patients and special equipment, general housekeeping of the aircraft and administration set out by the senior base pilot.
Worked As Captain/Line Pilot at Skytrans Airlines Pty Ltd from March 2007 to May 2009
First employed by Skytrans operating small aircraft for scheduled passenger and freight operations
throughout the Northern Cape of Australia, Horn Island and New Guinea.
• Quickly promoted to Captain on large Turbo Prop aircraft conducting regular passenger/freight charter
flights within Australia and New Guinea.
• Follow strict protocol, manage daily operations, passengers, freight and regular administrative duties.

Worked As Kenworth Warranty Manager at Gilbert and Roach Pty Ltd from January 1995 to May 2000
Responsible for claiming warranty on faulty Kenworth truck parts for either company or clients
This challenging role required a large volume of computer data entry, negotiating with Kenworth
management and end of month accounting and reconciliation
