Candidate Info :
I am a qualified heavy mechanic, have spent several years driving and am now at the stage i have had enough on the tools and would like to get back behind the wheel.
I have extensive driving history in all size vehicles up to HC single semi.
have worked all over Australia and don’t mind where i go.
My present job was lost due to the current health scare but i am a workaholic and cannot sit around waiting for things to get better, i need to work for my sanity.
I have no limits on where or how long i am away for as i did 5 years FIFO from geelong to Karratha.
my only weakness is don’t say no, i will do anything that is required without even thinking about it.
I will work whatever hours are required to get the job done, having worked 12 hr days 21 days straight for 5 years, its easy.

Experience :
Worked As fleet operations manager at harry the hirer from October 2014 to March 2020
Current position sees me repair and maintain a fleet of 120 trucks, Ute’s and forklifts.
All aspects of the fleet are carried out by myself, buying new vehicles, records, purchase orders, parts and equipment, all repairs required from servicing to engine replacement, gear box work and clutches, body work and painting. Also training HC and HR drivers, relief driving of semi-trailers and HR trucks to events state-wide, loading and unloading trucks as need be.

Worked As Workshop supervisor at Liftequipt from September 2011 to October 2014
FIFO
This sees me organizing daily work load for 5 technicians, organizing parts for jobs as required, attending breakdowns when required, on call for breakdowns, daily running of workshop. Transport and deliveries, pickups in the tilt tray truck statewide.

Worked As Product development and installations engineer at OES CNG from January 2010 to September 2011
Responsibilities/ Achievements:
Develop and install for testing, cng kits for automotive use as well as installations of service station and private / industrial refuelling sites for cng equipment. Development of an Australian designed home filling station for cng. Maintenance of company equipment including container forklifts, pump units with engines up to V16 Detroit.

Develop and install for testing, LPG kits for automotive use as well as customer relations and technical advice to the trade and public. Manage workshop with 6 /mechanics and train as required.
