I have worked away with fifo for a good 5 years and looking for more permanent work at home in Brisbane. I am healthy and fit, I enjoy going to gym and being active. • I was on contract and go away from anywhere between 2 to 5 weeks at a time. When I came back to Brisbane and between stints of going away again with Crusher and Plant I worked with Vici Reo-enforcement as they were flexible with me doing that. I operated franna, Manitou, forklift and EWP depending on task at hand to which machine I would operate. The job entailed rigging and erecting conveyors and crushing plant together on mine sites or quarries throughout Australia. Work wasn’t consistent enough being the reason for leaving and going fulltime with Vici Reo-enforcement.

• I was on a 3 and 1 roster at Condabri water treatment facility, my main role was steel fixing. Having my HR license I had the extra duty of driving all staff to and from site each day on the bus and when required I would drive the water cart around site and water down concrete slabs after pours. I was one of five that participated in a hydration research over 3 days, I took a tablet that monitored my internal organs and each morning and afternoon I would be weighed, blood tested and urine sample and wear a heart rate monitor for the day. Throughout the day I would have to drink a certain amount of water or Thortz drink and test my urine samples throughout the days. The research was to see the benefits of drinking Thortz hydrolytes over water and working in extreme heat. I was recognized for my participation in the research. Our stage of project completed resigning me having to find other employment.
