Temp assignments carried out at Cardinal Freight for 4 weeks, then Turners Transport for 3 months. This involved a mix of night time metro work and some line haul runs to Taupo and Waiouru.
During this time I have driven a large variety of truck/trailer combinations, including truck and trailer, B-train, triple & quad axle semi, both general freight, and fresh fruit and produce. Tractor units driven include Western Star, Freightliner Argosy, Scania, Volvo, International & Mack, with a mix of both auto and 18 speed road ranger gearboxes.
