A B-double driver is required to haul coal on our customers mine side, operating on a 5 on 2 off roster split into day and evening shifts.
Toll Mining Services, a business unit of Toll’s Global Resources & Government Logistics division, has current operations across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, placing Toll Mining Services as a leading operator in the mining logistics sector across Australia.
Our Werris Creek operation in New South Wales has a B-double driver vacancy and is looking to recruit locally. This role involves the haulage of coal on our customers mine site and currently operates on a 5 on 2 off roster split into day and evening shifts. The successful applicant must be able to commence in January 2017.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices and the ability to work both in a team and autonomously. A strong work ethic will be highly regarded.
You will be required to have the following skills, experience and abilities:
- Hold current MC drivers licence
- Have a background and previous experience in the transport industry, ideally working on a mine site
- Experience driving B-double side tipper vehicles
- Experience operating earthmoving equipment in a mine site environment would be highly desirable
- Knowledge of fatigue management is desirable, though not essential

The successful applicant will need to pass the medical requirements for this role, including a NSW Coal Board Order 41 medical, and undertake relevant inductions and training. You must be able to provide evidence of having the Right to Work in Australia.
It is a prerequisite for the preferred candidate for this role to undergo a criminal background check and provide a current licence history report for the previous 5 years.
