Full time driver with HR licence to drive UD Tautliner with 2 car trailer for Intra and Intrastate work.
We are looking for a HR driver to fill our full time position to pick up and deliver both new and second hand vehicles within Queensland and Northern NSW. We have trucks with Ceva and work from the Pinkenba Depot. We would prefer someone with experience but will train over a two week period. You must be capable of passing a medical, police check, and past driving history for the past 5 years.
We would hope that you are log book savvy, not have a heavy foot but willing to go that bit extra to get the job done with due care. You may possibly be able to take the truck home depending on the safety of the vehicle and location and approval of Ceva in case you need to take your vehicles home for an early start. We would expect you would have no issues with the possibly of staying overnight a couple of nights a week due to the distance you may have to travel. There is no weekend work unless you wish to get away early on a Sunday evening to get you to your destination earlier and avoid that Monday traffic and ability to do more jobs which in turn will earn you more money.
You only really require an MR licence but if you have an HR you may at some time drive one of the bigger trucks so this would be an advantage at this time for the position.
We mainly transport new vehicles to dealers so care is of the utmost importance.
