To Deliver product in a professional and competent manner, to develop healthy relationships with customers and to maintain that relationship. To facilitate vehicle maintenance to make sure product is delivered safe and within specifications.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
To deliver product to each customer within a set schedule and set temperature
To collect and return empty milk crates as part of each and every delivery
To collect and process COD payments
To complete all paperwork to a satisfactory standard
To ensure that vehicle is regularly cleaned, serviced and maintained in accordance with our company’s standards as to not affect service provided
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills as needed.
Comply with all operational procedures and documentation consistent with the requirements of the Company, Occupational Health & Safety, State and Federal legislation
Local & Interstate Coordination/Scheduling
Building rapport with customers and managing relations
Constantly strive to improve procedures, processes & the efficiency of the Company
Ensure OHS standards are complied with in the workplace
Assist in warehousing duties as required
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
– Product is always transported under 4 degrees at all times
– Product is delivered without issue and within schedule
– Empty crates are returned to warehouse
– FSP paperwork, completed and accurate
– Vehicle is maintained and undamaged.
– Positive feedback from customers
– Vehicle and warehouse equipment is maintained
Key Selection Criteria:
Competent in maths
Strong problem solving ability
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work under pressure whilst balancing customer demands
Ability to lift multiple heavy items – 20Kg Max
Knowledge of the Road Transport rules & regulations
Good geographical knowledge of Melbourne and its surrounding cities and suburbs
Applicants will need to be permanent Australian residents and hold a current Australian driver’s license with a good driving history
