Looking for a HR Driver
Family-owned sheet metal company is seeking a responsible Heavy Rigid Driver.
You will be responsible for delivering products to various locations across Melbourne including building sites and distribution stores.
The successful applicant will be required to do overtime on various days depending on the workload.
To be successful in the role you will need a relevant licence, be experienced in driving a heavy rigid vehicle, be comfortable with multiple drops, and the labour intensive duties associated with the position. You will be required to operate an eight meter tray truck and carry lengths of flashings and rainwater goods. To be successful you must be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg at times.
The successful applicant will also have a good geographical knowledge of Melbourne and be able to read and complete relevant paperwork for each delivery.
You will be mature, level headed, and able to make good decisions on the run. You will be able to work autonomously and also be willing to assist the team in the factory before, between, and after loads.
