As a delivery driver, you are expected to listen to instructions and follow company operational procedures to execute deliveries across the Sydney metro.
Priceworth is an importer and distributor of furniture and homewares, located in Smithfield, NSW, with a vision to provide Australian with versatile options for quality products with an affordable price tag. To achieve our vision, we are looking for a hard-working and experienced delivery driver to join our growing team. As a delivery driver, you are expected to listen to instructions and follow company operational procedures to execute deliveries across the Sydney metro.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our specialised freight local
- Delivery to our customer base in a timely and friendly manner, maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Unload and set up furniture and appliances, this will including heavy lifting
- Must follow company operation procedure and instructions
- Have strong knowledge of furniture installation
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles.
- Deliveries to route customers based in the Sydney area
- Complete daily run sheet
Eligibility & Skills:
- Valid Australian Driver’s License (required)
- Good driving record (required)
- Have sound knowledge of the Sydney Metro and surrounding suburbs, other states including best routes and times to travel to particular areas.
- Heavy Rigid Truck Driving License (preferred)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize jobs and work in a team and independently
- Be well presented, organised, with a great work ethic and a warm and friendly personality
