Micway Transport requires an afternoon shift Diesel Mechanic to work in our busy Workshop.
Micway Transport requires an afternoon shift Diesel Mechanic to work in our busy Workshop. Micway has a fleet of over 100 pieces of equipment that service major retailers and fast food outlets.
Our Maintenance facility is located at Seven Hills. We have coverage from 6am – 2am. Our mechanics work a 4 day ten hour roster and are required to are work one Saturday per month.
Our mechanics are responsible for servicing and repairs of our vehicles, tailgates and refrigeration units.
We currently have an opening for the evening shift 2pm – midnight or 4pm – 2am. Penalty rates apply.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must have completed a Cert III in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance. Previous experience working under the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation scheme would be highly regarded.
Previous experience working on Iveco, Volvo or Man fleet would be beneficial.
