*** Forklift drivers needed in Melbourne outer east, Silvan. Immediate start. Secure positions within a privately owned Food Manufacturing & Co Packing enterprise. Current Forklift Licence and prior experience in Food Manufacturing environment is a must. ***

We are a passionate family owned Food Manufacturing & Contract Packing company & are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team of Forklift Drivers on our Afternoon Shift.

The purpose of this role is to assist our Warehouse Manager in the daily running of our Warehouse and Production Lines. Duties and Responsibilities for this role include:

• Assisting with the dispatch, and receiving of goods. Including loading and unloading of transport trucks.
• Service and supply of selected Production Lines.
• Completing all tasks in a timely and safe manner, and to the standard of our Quality Management System

The right candidates will possess the following Skills & Experience:

• A positive attitude, with a strong work ethic committed to the completing all tasks safely and efficiently
• Exceptional problem solving skills , with the ability to multi-task and work in a faced paced environment
• Clear understanding of OH & S practices, and good personal hygiene practices
• Current Forklift Licence & own reliable transport to work.

The Role:

• This will be a 3 month contract with the chance of a permanent position
• Hourly full-time rate is $25 per hour and can be negotiated through show of experience.
• 40 hours per week + overtime. Generally 2:30pm – 10:00pm Mon – Fri but may vary. Occasional Saturdays available.
• Factory based in Silvan – ample onsite parking
