M & K Andrews Transport presents the opportunity for an MC licensed operator to join our small family owned and operated business based in Goondiwindi QLD
Our company prides itself on the quality of work we provide our clients and our well maintained equipment and fleet. Our fleet consists of predominantly western stars, side tippers, grain bins and semi water carts.
The right candidates for the job should ideally:
- Hold a current MC license
- Hold a current white card or be willing to obtain prior to employment
- Have a clean driving record
- Grain carting experience is desirable however onsite training can be provided for the right applicant (positive and willing to learn attitude)
- Take pride in their work and the company they represent
- Keep their truck and equipment in A1 condition
- Always maintain a positive and willing to learn attitude
- Be competent to work in the truck and under it as required (greasing)
Please note that we do not require you to be a mechanic, however basic mechanical knowledge is desirable to ensure that our equipment is kept operational and safe at all times- this includes greasing and following NHVR policies
Above award hourly rates are applied and paid weekly including super and an overnight allowance if applicable. Hourly rate is negotiated on experience. Casual employment with full time hours (40+ week) with the opportunity for permanency after a 3 month probation.
No set roster and cartage as required. Could be Monday – Friday, could be 6/7 days a week.
Depending on cartage, camping in trucks (western stars) with overnight allowance paid or if passing through hometown then happy for you to stay there if it’s on route. Potentially carting between Goondiwindi and Brisbane port.
