Ironforged Civil & Haulage is a locally owned and operated business providing reliable bulk haulage and civil services across Central Queensland. With a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and quality delivery, we are seeking an experienced HC/MC RR licensed Truck Driver to join our team based in Rockhampton.
The Role
This position involves the transport and delivery of gravel and quarry materials to civil construction and mining projects. The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy combination and multi-combination vehicles, ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
• Safe operation of Road Ranger gearbox trucks (HC/MC)
• Loading, carting, and tipping of gravel and quarry materials
• Conducting daily pre-start checks and maintaining accurate logbooks
• Reporting maintenance needs and ensuring vehicle cleanliness
• Complying with workplace health & safety requirements, site rules, and traffic management plans
• Representing Ironforged Civil & Haulage in a professional manner on client sites
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A current HC or MC Licence with demonstrated Road Ranger experience
• A valid Construction White/Blue Card
• Coal Board Medical/Standard 11
• Sound knowledge of heavy vehicle operation, load restraint, and fatigue management requirements
• Strong safety focus and the ability to follow company and site procedures
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude towards teamwork
