May Asphalt Group specialises in providing Asphalt Paving & Profiling, Crack Sealing, Road Rehabilitation and Plant Equipment Hire. Based in the Bayswater North. We are currently seeking Experienced Heavy Haulage Float Driver for IMMEDIATE START!

With a wide range of major projects underway, there is a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Heavy Haulage Float Driver. The role consist of loading and unloading large and heavy load equipment such as Profilers, Rollers, Pavers to and from site following detailed directions ensuring all Health & Safety, Vic Roads and EPA requirements are adhered to.
The role and pay rate will be defined depending on your previous experience and qualifications.
To Be Considered We Are Seeking Candidates That Meet The Below Criteria
- Hold a Construction Induction Card / Red OH&S Card
- Valid Open HC Licence W/Reliable Transport to and From Work
- Oversized Freight experience
- Previous Low Loader experience required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate and move mobile plant
- Road Construction Industry Experience Preferred
- Hard Working Can Do Attitude!
- Physically fit
- Ability to assist/help Asphalt Crew when not driving float
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and punctuality
- You Are Reliable, Punctual, Honest, Easy Going and Enjoy Working in a Team Environment
- You are Seeking an Opportunity to Secure Ongoing Work and Possible Permanent Employment (Must Pass Probation Period Approx. 3 Months)
- Available to work from Monday to Friday (Some Weekend & Night Work may be required from time to time)

Salary: $800.00 to $1,200.00 /year

- Heavy Haulage Float Driving: 2 years (Preferred)
