HR Skip Truck Driver

We are a small, family owned and operated business serving the North side of Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast.  Based in Narangba, all our trucks are single rear axle, rigid for the time being.  Due to our prompt, friendly and professional service we are rapidly expanding and require a casual driver who is willing to steadily increase their hours.

The position involves loading, transporting, unloading and tipping (marrell type) skip bins for the domestic, commercial and C&D industries, as well as general tasks such as vehicle upkeep and bin repairs.  Being employed as a professional truck driver representing the company, you will be expected to know and obey the road rules, as well as drive in a safe and courteous manner.

Essential Requirements

• Have a good work ethic, can-do attitude, professional & polite, flexible & adaptable
• Willing to set a good standard, willingness to grow your career with the company
• Hold a valid QLD HR truck licence & 5 years HR experience
• Experience of 1 year in skip bin industry, or 2 years in truck crane or crane rigging industry
• Physically fit – safely climb on tray, secure loads, in/out of cab all day, etc.
• Own PPE: Steel cap boots, Hi-vis shirt, safety sunnies, gloves,
• Neat, tidy and organised – keep truck clean & organised, ensure loads & tarps are tidy
• References from previous employers
• Right to work in Australia, have own transport & good spoken English

Working hours:  Minimal starting, increasing to full work week for the right candidate
