HR Truck Driver – Civil Construction Site ( Hibernian Building and Civil and Landscaping )

Start: February 2020
Location: Between Sydney Sites – Bondi, Castle Hill and Wolli Creek, with potential to work on other sites in Eastern Suburbs and Sydney Metro.
Hours: 50+ per week (6.30am -5pm Monday – Friday, with Saturdays 8am – 1pm if workload dictates)
Pay: Hourly rates to be discussed
Duties:
- Driving Bogies, Hook Trucks and Flatbed Trucks (all have automatic gear boxes)
- Uploading and unloading load is a requirement
- All labouring duties where needed – assisting with all aspects of ground works including sweeping, site cleans, shovelling, concrete labouring, trenching, demolition, jack hammering and use of electrical and hand tools
- Correct and safe use of hand and power tools
- Keeping site areas safe and tidy
Experience Required:
- Significant experience as an HR Truck Driver; specifically experienced in driving Bogies, Hook Trucks, Flatbed Trucks
- Civil construction site experience is an advantage
- This would suit a self-starter with a strong work ethic and initiative to assist elsewhere on site
- Strong communication skills, and able to work independently and as part of the team
Requirements:
- HR Licence for Automatic Rigid Trucks.
- Own transport
- White Card and relevant construction tickets
- Documentation to prove right to work in Australia
- Own PPE and toolbelt
