Local Delivery Driver – Darwin
We are seeking an experienced Local Delivery Driver to join our team in Darwin, NT. As a full-time driver, you will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of parcels and goods to customers within the local Darwin area.
This is an essential role that plays a key part in our operations and contributes directly to the success of our business.
What you’ll be doing:
– Safely operating a delivery van to transport and deliver parcels and goods to customers
– Following pre-determined delivery routes and schedules to ensure all items are delivered on time
– Interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner
– Ensuring the accurate documentation and tracking of all deliveries
– Complying with all relevant road rules and safety regulations
What we’re looking for:
– A current Australian driver’s C class licence with a clean driving record
– Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
– Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
– Attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation
– A reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work
