We are the market leaders in our field and supply Baby Leaf Salad Australia wide and overseas. We currently operate from three sites and have the following positions available:
About the Role
We are looking for two experienced Machine Harvest Operator/Tractor Driver who is a reliable and motivated self-starter with an ambitious attitude to join our dedicated team at Rootz Qld. On offer is permanent year round employment working in the farming sector using a fleet of new and modern equipment. The successful applicant will be able to work to KPI's and have a can do attitude. In addition to harvesting there will be ad hoc farm maintenance to be done.
Skills & Experience
Minimum two years experience within horticultural industry.
Comfortable using modern technology such as smart phones
Physically fit
Ably willing to work flexible hours and ability to work some weekends during peak harvest times and heavy demand periods
Expectation of compliance in Food Safety standards within the ‘Freshcare’ Code Of Practice.
An Advantage
Chemical Accreditation (ChemCert)
Knowledge and experience in harvesting salad leaf crops.
Knowledge and experience with precision ag technology
Valid forklift license
Training will be provided to a successful applicant without these qualifications.
