Job Summary:

The successful applicant requires experience with road trains and long-distance remote driving

The role involves loading and carting and delivery of bulk liquid chemicals from Brisbane to various Queensland mine sites. The role involves regular weekly round trips to remote locations. There will also be some local work on a regular basis.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Multi drop deliveries within metro and country areas of Queensland and NSW
Loading and unloading of bulk liquid chemicals
Ensuring neat and clean presentation of vehicle and yourself
Completion of paperwork and client contact

The successful candidate will have:

MC License (Current Driving Record required)
Dangerous Goods licence or willingness to obtain such
Experience in tanker operations
Clear communication (both verbal and written English)
The ability to start early is a must
Flexibility with hours of work – the role involves extensive travel away from home
Ability to think on the run, and work in a team environment
Ability to reliably work autonomously after initial training
Familiarity with, and willingness to adhere to, WHS and other operational procedures – you will be required to undertake inductions for multiple sites including mine sites
