With expansive cold and dry storage facilities , a large modern fleet of commercial vehicles servicing our customers located both within the metropolitan and regional areas of Western Australia.

The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a highly motivated and energetic Yard Shunt Truck Driver to join our Transport team at our depot in Forrestfield on a Casual basis. The primary duties of this position is to ensure trailers are placed on and off loading docks; move trailers to and from trailer parking areas; couple/uncouple trailer combinations; as well as providing assistance across all areas of the business as and when required (complete trailer pre-start checks, Loading on the docks , maintaining a safe clean transport yard through continuous cleaning of the yard and docks).

This role is not suitable for someone who expects to just be reversing Trailers , it requires an energetic team player willing to assist the business anywhere as required and not just Shunt Truck operation.

To be considered for the role, it is essential candidates:

• Available for an immediate start.
• Hold an unrestricted HC licence
• Trained, skilled and be able to reverse trailers consistently
• Prepared to assist the business by labouring, picking packing and cleaning when not performing Shunt duties.
• Have the ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously
• Possess exceptional work ethic, reliability and punctuality
• Be adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced working environment
• Clear, concise and fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Previous exposure to a similar role will be advantageous
