Straddle Carrier Operator/ Yard hand ( Tri-tainer Services )

Job Summary:

Small team at an Import/ Export shipping container storage yard located in Derrimut are looking for a Straddle operator/ yard hand/ Admin to join their business.

Training will be provided. Full drivers licence and forklift licence. Basic computer/ tablet skills needed.

Full time – Mon-Fri. Saturday half day shifts rotated.

Duties include (Training provided*)

Unloading and loading 20ft and 40ft shipping containers/ Tanks on and off trucks.

Plugging In and out Refrigerated container leads as containers come in and leave yard.

Yard Stocktake.

Monitoring/recording refrigerated container temperatures.

Yard repairs and upkeeps.

Booking customers in and out on a computer and or tablet.

Must be reliable with their work time, able to work from heights, have basic computer skills, good customer service manner. Comfortable around machinery.
