Position is based out of our Wacol depot in Brisbane | Work includes extendable, drop deck, dolly/jinker and open top trailer loads carting a variety of freight including structural steel, precast concrete, crane components and general freight | Applicants are required to be able to work in a team environment but will also need to have the ability to work on their own | A high level of professionalism and customer service will be expected.
The successful applicants must have the following attributes:
– Experience in load restraint including the use of dogs and chains
– Knowledge in the use of a road ranger gear box
– Experience with oversized loads both long and wide
– Be willing to wear full PPE at all times including long sleeve shirt, long pants, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves etc
– Be willing to keep equipment clean and tidy at all times and take pride in presentation
– Be able to produce neat and tidy paperwork/job dockets on a weekly basis
– Be 100% drug and alcohol free and willing to undertake mandatory screening
– Have own transport to and from work
– Be available for away work when required
