Container unloading experience highly regarded.
Physically fit, keen and reliable labourers and forklift operators as pair to take out our container unloading contract for immediate starts in sites in Smithfield!
If you enjoy being paid for physical fast paced work and prefer to be kept busy in your job, then we have great opportunities available for the right people! If you are someone who experienced in container unloading or is looking to get into container unloading / warehousing and logistics, you possess a forklift licence or are fit labourer and available then we are looking for you.
Work is paid per container and gives the opportunity for people who possess a sense of urgency and strong work ethic earn over award wages!
Duties will include:
- Manually unload product from shipping containers onto pallets
- Repetitive lifting of loads (up to 25kg)
- Use of shrink wrap to manually wrap palletised goods
- Working productively to strict timeframes
- Obeying strict safety rules in warehouse environments
Forklift operators will be required to also:
- Safely operate forklifts to unload palletised goods using container ramps
- Use forklifts to attach container ramp to shipping containers
